I decided a long time ago that the next of our females in the cattery would be a female with my own name. I loved the thought of getting Pinky's daughter - preferably a lilac tortoiseshell with white. Luckily, Monika from Zielaki, PL cattery agreed to mate Pinky with her cream male so there was quite a probability that my dream would come true. On April 18th, 2005 the first lilac tortoiseshell bicolour female was born in Poland. She was the loudest of the litter. We had to hide her from Pinky because her screams interrupted the feeding. Luska grew very fast. I left the final decision to the judges. That is why, in Poznan, I had the whole litter and also separately Luska to show to the judges. Both judges shared the same opinion. They said that Luna was also a very proportional kitten but Lunitari was the star of the litter. She was nominated to BIS of 3-6 months old kittens both times. The decision was easier than I thought. Luska stayed with us.

What is Lunitari like? The truth is - she is the most wonderful of all the females living with me. She is crazy as Uszka, brave as Olka, keeping distance to strangers as Pinky. Besides, she is lovely, cute and surprises me all the time. She won the hearts of the whole family.

Cats and especially British cats were always awesome to me but I am personally bewitched by Luska's beauty.

Lunitari has changed with years. From a brave female she used to be, she changed into a withdrawn one. In 2007 she gave birth to her only litter, it was a very difficult birth for both of us, the cat and myself. Only one kitten survived it – a cream female. Because of the problematic labour and also the withdrawn character of Lunitari’s we decided that she also would be neutered. Nothing can be forced and that’s why she went to the vet together with her mom and I picked them up as neutered cats. Since then she has been changing – for better this time. She likes my husband best but I also experience some of her favours. The rest of the family may as well be invisible for her.
