She was born in 2007 with an incredibly small weight. Yet, her determination to live was so strong that she eventually made it. She made her mom remember to feed her and she became friendly with a teddy bear to have someone to cuddle with. Even though we had not planned to keep another female in the cattery, and moreover a white-less female Napoleonka stayed with us. She even “changed her sex” because in all that busy time and also because she was so determined to live, I was certain she was a boy. For her bravery and strength the kitten was called Napoleon. But after some time I looked under Napoleon’s tail and the truth came out- it was a female. As our friends breeders say – you don’t give away the only children so our naughty cuddler stayed. I didn’t even have to convince my husband; he decided that she is not to be given away.

What is Leo like? She is incredibly brave unlike her mom. She even dominated her – Luska respects her daughter much. She found a friend in Uszka and fights with her in a friendly fashion and she is the only one to be allowed to enter Uszka’s cot with kittens. As a kitten Napoleonka was at cat shows where she obtained her first BIV and NOM BIS.

Above all, she wins the hearts of my guests although as a real British shorthair she is not keen on sitting on people’s lap she begs for cuddles by touching the guests with her paw and rolling over on the floor. She enjoys playing and drinking water from the tap – she is an eternal baby. In 2009 we are expecting kittens from the marriage of Napoleonka and a beautiful male Lord that lives in Perła von Agiro cattery.
